To celebrate the release of the new Top Gun movie in theaters, Hasbro will be reissuing the Top Gun/Transformers Collaborative figure, Maverick!  Check out the details and images below:

Today, in celebration of Top Gun Day, Hasbro and TRANSFORMERS have announced a reissue of the Top Gun Mash-Up, Maverick Robot! With updated packaging and accessories, the Maverick Robot is available for pre-order July 21 exclusively at Walmart.

Starting with its 35th Anniversary, the Transformers brand crossed over with the Ghostbusters franchise to introduce the "Collaborative" series. This series follows the tradition of lines like Star Wars Transformers in bringing together a known brand with the Transformers toy line for some unique action figures.

Hot on the heels of June's Transformers x Back to the Future announcement, Hasbro has revealed another crossover figure: Maverick! This jet fighter/robot is a crossover between the worlds of the Transformers and the popular 80's film Top Gun which was intended to launch a sequel this summer. The film has been delayed due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, but you can check out the trailer below:
